Piston Pins Grinding

Siapi Smartech has been specializing in precision grinding for over 30 years and is able to offer its customers a complete range of products specific for the grinding of piston pins.

We offer grinding wheels with a mix of specific abrasives in rubber bond for roughing and semi-finishing operations and in rubber-cork bond for finishing and lapping.

Our rubber wheel, mainly used by our customers, is able to absorb the vibrations generated by the machine, providing excellent superficial roughness, roundness and dimensional tolerance. The long life is guaranteed by the characteristic of being self-dressing thus reducing the wheel consumption.

We supply tools produced with the multiple-grits technology, which allows high stock removal and low levels of roughness. This technology reduces the number of passes and the number of machines involved with a consequent saving both in labor and energy, optimizing the cost per piece.

Our wheels can be used for all applications: piston pins for vehicles intended both for light and heavy transport.
