The environmental Policy of Siapi Smartech defines the objectives of the environmental impacts, through the involvement and training of all employees, creating the basis of an industrial culture that identifies respect for the environment as a priority value.

01. The initiative.

In this context, there is an ongoing program of actions included in the National Campaign for the rehabilitation and protection of the green areas, sponsored by Legambiente, based on the "Carbon Footprint" method, whose route includes calculating the environmental impact of the company and a related forestation project in a wooded area of Milan to offset the CO2 produced by the company. The reforestation event, organized with the cooperation of local authorities, took place in November 2019 with the planting of 100 Tuie trees at the Parco dei Sorrisi "in Trezzano Sul Naviglio - Milan.

03. Environmental certification.

Since 2008 Siapi Smartech has been adopting the Environmental Management System as a reference that has been updated and certified UNI-EN-ISO 14001: 2015.

ISO 14001 provides the guiding requirements for the implementation and of an Environmental Management System (EMS) that Siapi Smartech uses to improve its environmental performance, managing its responsibilities in a systematic way, contributing to the environmental pillar of SUSTAINABILITY.
