Grinding wheels for the head of the tapered rollers

Siapi Smartech epoxy binder wheels are suitable for working on special MODLER machineries in ROUGHING and FINISHING operations of the heads of the tapered rollers. These wheels, made up of two sections with different characteristics, allow to unify some roughing and finishing operations in ONE single pass. The type of abrasive used is aluminum oxide with grains ranging from 150 to 400. The diameter of the grinding wheel can vary from 135 to 350 mm and it is profiled with a specific radius to adapt itself to the head of the tapered rollers on the basis of the specific need of the Customer. Siapi Smartech grinding technology allows to obtain a very good surface quality and a very precise geometry of the heads of the tapered rollers, which are well suited for the sector's strict tolerances. The grinding wheel is also equipped with nuts, inserted in the rear part, in order to easily fix it on the machine.
